Cross-Strait Relations in Context: Perspectives on the Relationship Between Taiwan and China
Global Taiwan Chair at the Department of Sinology is hosting a lecture series in the spring of 2026.
In this series, international guest speakers focus on different aspects of relations across the Taiwan Strait. Starting from an historical overview, the talks explore Taiwan’s role in the ideology of Xi Jinping, the place of cross-Strait relations in Taiwanese domestic politics, and the means by which actors across the Strait aim to achieve their objectives.
